Couture, cupcakes and curtsey's

With the current economic crisis at our doorstep, i decided to take alook at the little niche genre in fashion, Couture. The priceless, museum exhibition, one-off pieces were recently featured in a Vanity Fair shoot by Michael Roberts, his muse none other than Emily Blunt (bitchy assistant from Devil Wears Prada).
The Marie Antionette/Queen Elizabeth theme is very fitting, as Ms Blunt is about to release her new movie 'The Young Victoria'. The film follows Queen Elizabeths often over shadowed ancestory, Princess-turn-Queen Victoria as she gains the crown. Looks pretty good, it also has Kiera Knightley's boyfriend as the male lead. Nice.
